Sonny gave me the best surprise on my birthday last year. He flew in from Brisbane without letting me know.
He had a special arrangement with his cousin Maritess & her husband Peddie to invite me to dinner for her wedding anniversary celebration.
At the restaurant, I noted the change in the piped-in music into a romantic one. Remember "She's the face I can't forget, la la ri la la ..." in Nothing Hill? Then suddenly the waiter was handing over a bouquet of red roses over my shoulder. When I looked back to get the flowers ... to my surprise it's Sonny!!!
Inspite all the feast of food infront of us, we spent the rest of evening in awe of each other. We both can't eat! I can't forget I was just so happy that moment!
Can't believe he was beside me then and that he is no longer a voice from my cellphone.
